Why did you move to Germany?
I moved to Germany, because I wanted to travel and I had never been out of the United States. I was working in commercial real estate finance, and after the Great Recession started in 2008, I decided that that time was as good a time as any. So I began looking abroad for English teaching positions and was lucky enough to get an offer in Hamburg. So, at the end of February, 2010 I moved.
When did you move back to the USA?
I moved back in December, 2014 and currently live in Tampa, FL.
What kind of opportunities are you interested in?
I am an entrepreneur at heart, and love to be in an entrepreneurial environment. I love working with startups or early stage companies, where there’s more of an opportunity to have your voice heard and make an impact on business growth. I also need to be constantly challenged and love developing business ideas, strategy, and making customers happy. I tend to feel stagnant if I’m required to sit in an office all day, so I do prefer to have some travel opportunities or field work. I’m also analytical and enjoy solving complex problems.
Are you open to relocation?
Yes! I’m actually looking for a relocation opportunity. I’m currently in Florida, but don’t want to live here permanently. I really miss having proper seasons and more moderate weather.
